Vegans believe that their way of life does not harm animals and the environment. Of course, nothing could be further from the truth. Fact is that monoculture plantations and greenhouse farm factories, the enormous amount of water needed to grow the crop, the destruction of wildlife habitat and the heavy use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides take a heavy toll on wildlife and the environment. The simple fact of the matters is that any life on this planet is only sustainable for plants, animals, and humans if something else dies. Planet earthworks on the principle of life through death, without death there can be no life.
