Today is the second anniversary of my hunting friend Rex Dean Howell's death. For 15 years, I was invited to his family's deer camp at the famous Christmas Place Plantation Hunting Club near Eden, MS. His son, Spencer, took a picture of us on a workday going to the North Cornfield to meet up with his brothers, Paul and Trent, getting the fields ready for the next deer season. He is truly missed by his family and me so much. I will always treasure our hunts together in our great Mississippi outdoors. (Deer Camp Blog - bodocktimes.blogspot.com)
